Why This Resource Exists
Utah law provides access to many public government records, but release information is spread among separate custodians. The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office creates the county jail booking and release record. Utah Department of Corrections maintains an offender search for people currently incarcerated or under probation or parole supervision. The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole publishes hearings and decisions, while federal releases may appear in the Bureau of Prisons locator. This site brings release-record explanations, lookup routes, supervision sources, and records-request steps into one county-focused reference. It does not turn those different systems into a single government database.
